In the art sense, dance was one of my first loves.
Growing up, I spent hours watching Matt Stefanina’s choreography on YouTube, dreaming of being in those studios. When I got to college, I discovered Pulse—a predominantly women of color hip-hop dance team—and it completely shifted the trajectory of my college experience. Sophomore year, I joined the executive board as Social Media Manager, producing video content and graphics for our Instagram and annual spring showcase while growing the team’s online presence. By junior and senior year, I stepped into the role of Co-President, leading a 20-member team and overseeing rehearsals, operations, and executive board coordination.
